Tiffany Mill
The Tiffany Mill project in Brooklyn, Connecticut will consist of 230 units of residential housing located within 176,000 square feet of
existing historical mill buildings (110 Units) and 120 new townhouse units. The property contains over 32 acres of land with 3,000 feet of river frontage along
the Quinebaug River and is located less than one mile from Route 6 and less than two miles from Interstate 395. This project is currently under design and we will
work with prospective buyers to modify the design to meet your needs. With over 30 years of experience renovating historic structures we can complete the renovations
to your specifications.
The original complex was constructed in 1826 by Comfort and Ebenezer Tiffany and contained mill space as well as housing for workers. Comfort
Tiffanys son Charles was the first storekeeper and left Brooklyn to pursue a more successful career in New York and founded Tiffany & Co. Portions of those
foundations still exist on the site. The brick row houses built on the adjacent property area created the Quinebaug Mill/ Quebec Square Historic District which are
across the street from this property. The existing buildings that were constructed in 1882 and 1915 will remain onsite. As the focal point to this development a unique
opportunity to blend existing historical structures with modern amenities, housing and support services on a large riverfront parcel of land. Significant historic
preservation and State of Connecticut tax incentives are available for the redevelopment of this parcel.
