Riverside Commons

Opening in the Spring 2011, Riverside Commons is an historic mill complex situated on 9.5 acres along the Nashua River in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. There is approximately 300,000 square feet of existing floor space. The buildings were was constructed between 1886 and 1907 and range from 1 to 4 stories.

Renovations are underway for 176 residential units with approximately 8,000 square feet of commercial space. The units will range in size from 514 to 2,200 square feet with 29 one bedroom units, 127 two bedroom units and 20 three bedroom units. Many units have an oversized living room and a bonus room. Large windows throughout will make for bright open spaced units. A river walk will be constructed along the Nashua River and will connect to a new nature park across the river to be constructed by the Massachusetts Trustees of Reservations.

The property is located along a bus route close to downtown Fitchburg. A new commuter rail has been approved for the intersection of Route 31 and Route 2 which places the property between two commuter rail stations. The property is easily accessible by car with ample onsite parking.
